Consignment used firearms are slightly more difficult to sell online than in person as it is hard to show every single mark/blemish/etc. that might exist on the firearm. We make every effort to show and indicate any unique issues with each piece. That is why multiple pictures are displayed on our website of each item and are taken on several angles to show the condition of the piece as best possible. Each picture can be viewed full size by clicking on it. Any major marks or damage will be clearly shown and indicated.
If you are sincerely interested in purchasing a used firearm you may request additional pictures and information but please be specific. Generally, if requested, used firearm sales will have a 3-Day inspection period.
If prior to the purchase agreement, clarification or further information was not requested over what has been provided on our website and there are no major issues with the function or condition of the piece the 3-Day inspection period does not apply and there will be no refund provided.
3-Day Inspection Period
The 3-Day inspection period provided with the purchase of a used firearm from Rusty Wood Trading Company is subject to the following conditions:
- The buyer has three days from the date of delivery to inspect the physical condition of the firearm or product (no firing or disassembly beyond basic field stripping is permitted) to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase.
- If the buyer had requested the 3 day inspection period and finds there are undocumented functional or major issues with the item and the buyer wishes to return the item for a refund, the buyer MUST first contact Rusty Wood Trading Co. and request a RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization #).
- Once the item is received, inspected and is found to be free of any damage or signs of firing/disassembly beyond field stripping a refund will be issued for the item purchase price less $50.00 restocking fee.
- Shipping fees both ways are at the buyer’s own expense. Any credit card processing fees that were charged will NOT be refunded, as we do NOT receive those back.
